There were many traumatising events during campaigning against HS2, from the state and within the resistance to the project, and there were a few solid stones of guidance in my experience of that time – one being this book – overcoming burnout. It was such a relief to have someone articulate many solid ways around the culture of everything-all-at-once-without-a-breath – especially having come from that place and way of organising. Yeah it was totally magic!!
