Emily Cartwright MNIMH is a medical herbalist + emergency first responder who is based in Lincoln, UK.
I joined the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and began practising in 2018 at The Terrace in Lincoln, and in late 2019, opened Cultivate, a community wellbeing centre and herbal apothecary in my home town of Lincoln alongside running foraging workshops, working as a emergency first responder\medical herbalist at festivals in the UK, and gave herbal medicine talks within my local community.
After a successful crowdfunder, we raised over £1500 for a community wellbeing fund, which offers financial aid to those in our local community, that can not afford to access alternative medicine while in turn supporting our local therapists and small businesses in the local area. I am passionate that alternative medicine should be accessible to all and I have been providing a sliding scale for my services to make sure I can provide this to everyone including those in financial difficulty.
